Mirzapur is surrounded by dry decidious forest with scrublands and grasslands. And its a paradise for mammals - striped hyena, bengal fox, desert cat, rusty spotted cat,jungle cat,civets ,etc with varieties of grassland birds , raptors and reptiles.

Conservation

Working with "Vindhya Bachao" NGO, we aim towards the eco-tourism and conservation of these untamed folks found in the grasslands and scrublands of Mirzapur.

We also feel that its our duty to spread awareness in the locals.

We function on tracking the luxuriant wildlife of Mirzapur. The documentation of the species and monitoring their dens has also been our concern.Our activities are wildlife tracking, documentation, dens monitoring, and spreading awareness in locals & farmers.
